Dr. Shaza Karrar is a certified Emergency Medicine Physician at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, USA. Originally a graduate of Sharjah University School of Medicine, and Zayed Military Hospital Residency program, with multiple local and regional awards. Dr. Karrar Advocates for Medical Education, serving as a residency program core faculty and has created multiple regional educational platforms, such as NEEMRA (National Emirates Emergency Medicine Residents Assembly); the first virtual emergency Medicine national residents assembly with over 30 speakers and 400
attendees on a yearly basis, as well created the first EM Podcast in the MENA region EMSpaceCast supporting FOAMed and FOAMTox. She's actively involved in promoting Tox services and education in the region.
